Sustainable Hawke’s Bay is excited to welcome Hawke’s Bay Chilled Distribution – the local franchisee for Anchor Milk – as our newest Zero Waste Hub / Kererū partner.
Hawke’s Bay Chilled are a great example of a local business understanding what a true community partnership looks like. Recognising that nothing happens for free, they’re stepping up on behalf of Hawke’s Bay businesses to sponsor Tetra Pak recycling for the region.
By partnering with Sustainable Hawke’s Bay, they’re supporting our charity to extend our impact, by providing a simple to use service that cafes, restaurants and the general public can use to meaningfully reduce waste to landfill. Businesses can drop their clean, dry and opened Tetra Paks off directly to Sustainable Hawke’s Bay, or for those that are receiving deliveries by Hawke’s Bay Chilled, talk to Martha and Olly about having your Tetra Paks collected.
The partnership extends Hawke’s Bay Chilled’s commitment to waste minimisation and sustainability, as businesses using Anchor milk can already return empty bottles as part of Anchor’s recycling scheme.
