We’re proud to be teaming up with Weave Hawke’s Bay and Wairoa Financial Literacy Services on a new Healthy Homes programme, giving whānau across the region free, personalised support to make their homes warmer, drier and healthier.
This new kaupapa sits under our Sustainable Homes programme, alongside our existing Meridian Energy Programme — another way we’re helping households keep their homes drier and cheaper to heat.
Here’s how it works: a qualified Home Performance Advisor visits your home to see how it’s performing, then puts together tailored, practical recommendations. That might mean discussing how to manage dampness and mould, improve heating and ventilation, or ways to save on electricity. Households will also get hands-on improvements and extra support if they need it.
The service is supported by investment from the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) through its Support for Energy Education in Communities (SEEC) programme, and is delivered together with Weave Hawke’s Bay and Wairoa Financial Literacy Service — bringing together trusted local knowledge, right across Napier, Hastings, Central Hawke’s Bay and Wairoa.
