Volunteer

This intro has half padding, so it doesn't take up quite so much room before we get down to the content of the page.
Are you:

Passionate about climate change action, recycling, food security, seed saving, zero waste events and are keen to help people with theirs?

Do you enjoy interacting with people?

We have the perfect volunteer roles for you!

We are a fast growing Community Hub and as such require extra hands.

Does it sound like you? If so get in touch because we are currently looking for volunteers.

These roles are generally between 9.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday (but you can do part hours or micro volunteering to suit your availability).

Why Volunteer?

Sustaining Hawke's Bay Trust  is a registered charity. Without the amazing work that volunteers do we could not operate.

Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, especially if you are new to an area. Volunteering also strengthens your ties to the community and broadens your knowledge of what you can do to help reduce the impact of climate change for future generations.

We have volunteers from 10 to 90 years old at the Sustainable HB. Click on the link to learn more about opportunities, choose what you like and we will be in touch.

Partner Organisations

From funders and councils to grassroots groups and local businesses, each partner plays a vital role in helping us deliver real change for Hawke’s Bay. These relationships are built on trust, collaboration, and a shared commitment to creating a more sustainable, resilient future for our region.
