Behind every community project, there are local businesses quietly making it possible. For the Kai Ika Project Hawke’s Bay, one of those is ITM Napier.
When our 2005 Toyota Hiace – the workhorse that keeps our rescued kaimoana moving – needed major repairs, ITM Napier stepped in to help get it back on the road. That vehicle is the heartbeat of our operation, delivering fish heads and frames from generous fishers to families across Flaxmere, Camberley, and as far north as Wairoa and Māhia.
Their support goes far beyond fixing a van. It helps keep good kai out of landfill, supports local whānau with nutritious food, and strengthens the connection between our community and our kaimoana.
ITM Napier are long-time supporters of grassroots initiatives in Hawke’s Bay, backing the people and projects that make a tangible difference. We’re proud to have them as part of our Kai Ika whānau, helping us show what can happen when local businesses put their values into action.
